On the cliffs circuit…
The property is situated in the district of Plouézec (in the Côtes-d’Armor region), with its population of 3200 and 17 km of shoreline. The coastline is lined by cliffs, with coves, beaches, underwater caves and smugglers’ paths, that we can discover by walking across its “cliffs circuit”.
The property is located on the cliffs circuit in a landscaped park of about one hectare, with a breath-taking panoramic view over the bay of Saint-Brieuc.
Surrounded by coastal landscapes as far as the eye can see, the property is the last building before the sea. All the surrounding land is fully protected, and construction is definitively prohibited.
The property stands on a plateau and thus dominates the surrounding landscape, offering a clear view of the sea and the countryside, with no immediate neighbours and no other houses in sight.
Its setting embodies the immediate wild and natural environment, the coastal landscapes that stretch as far as the eye can see, the invigorating air of the sea, the calm and tranquility that comes from contact with nature.
The sea, everywhere, enchanting…
Thanks to its location, the property allows you to enjoy the benefits of the sea without the nuisance and irritations often linked to the proximity of beaches and homes. We are here in peace and in prime position to admire the omnipresent sea which changes its appearance at any time according to the color of the sky.
One’s gaze naturally alights on the other side of the bay of Saint-Brieuc, on Cape Fréhel, the lighthouse of Grand Léjon, etc. –about 50 kilometers of Breton coastline.
At dawn, we can enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the bay of Saint-Brieuc. In late afternoon, you can often see the sandy beaches of Erquy, Pléneuf-Val-André… on the horizon and their beauty enhanced by the setting sun.
From dusk, the property’s outdoor lighting comes into effect, enhancing the sublime atmosphere of this unique setting, with the lights of the bay of Saint-Brieuc far away
At nightfall, the lights of the bay of Saint-Brieuc appear in the distance, along with the flashing lights of several famous lighthouses, their unique light signatures guiding mariners throughout the night.
A wild coast of which only Brittany has the secret…
Here are some views, taken by drone, showing the landscapes that extend from the Pointe de Minard to the property, passing over the blue pebble beach of Pors Pin. It is this authentic, wild and preserved environment that makes for the Domaine de Minard so unique.
A much appreciated micro climate…
Thanks to the effects of “the Gulf Stream” sea current, the Paimpol region is renowned for its mild climate at all times of the year. Whether in strong winds, in the rain or in bright sunshine, temperatures are pleasant in summer and winter. It is this ideal climate which explains the growing success of Brittany and more particularly of the Paimpol area.
Close to nature and to local towns…
The Domaine de Minard is ideally located at a crossroads:
– in the immediate vicinity of the GR 34 coastal path which borders all of the Breton coasts
– 600 m walk from the blue pebble beach of Pors Pin
– 2 km from the small marina of Bréhec with its sandy beach, its nautical center, its sailing school, its bars and restaurants
– 2 km from the village of Plouézec with its shops, its new supermarket and its many services (post office, bank, pharmacy, doctors, osteopath, dentist, nurses, physiotherapists, etc.)
– a few km from Paimpol and at the gates to the pink granite coast…
There is a bus stop less than 500 m away, serving the town of Plouézec, as well as Paimpol, Saint-Brieuc, etc.
The property is therefore ideally situated for discovering the region and taking advantage of its many treasures…
